Today, I was playing tennis with my friend. He hit a ball up high, and I slammed it down, thinking there was no way he would get it. Feeling pretty good about it, I turned around to celebrate. As I turned around, I got smacked in my face. He got it. FML

Today, I was sitting on a fence watching a friend play soccer. He accidentally kicked the ball at my face and made me fall off the fence into mud. I laughed it off and got back on the fence. Two seconds later he did the same exact thing. I fell wrong and slammed my face into the fence. Pain. FML

Today, I was playing one on one soccer with a girl like. I accidentally kicked the ball right into her face. The ball rolled back towards me and as I was running to see if she was ok, I kicked the ball… right into her face again. FML

Today, I was walking around in a park when I pass some kids playing soccer. One of them kicks the ball as hard as he could at me. Luckily I catch the ball. Then I drop kick the ball, intending to say "go get it." Instead it ricochets of a nearby tree and hits my face. FML

Today, I had a soccer game. A player from the other team hit me in the face. In the next half, she was the goalie and I was determined to score on her. When I finally got my chance to, everyone cheered, until I kicked the ball into the goal post and it bounced back and hit me in the face. FML

Today, I met my girlfriend's dad at a tennis game. I could tell he despised me from the start, but it only got worse when I played him. He smashed the ball at me and I went to hit it, but I missed and fell over, tearing my arm up on the gravel. He had a smirk on his face for the rest of the day. FML

Today, I got dragged into playing doubles tennis. It was me and my wife against her parents. I wound up hitting the ball too hard. My mother-in-law, who has the reaction times of a comatose turtle, got nailed. Everyone's convinced I did it on purpose because of our mutual hatred of each other. FML

What do you mean he had no right to slam it? The idiot turned his back on the play. The guy was just trying to win. He didn't mean to hit the guy's face. If you were playing a sport would you stop just because the person turned away? The play was still going on, if that's what you're confused about.

If you go google fmylife.com the headline for the site is "FMyLife: Share your every day life unfortunate moments and other fail funny stories." Does this not count as an unfortunate moment for funny fail story? It doesn't have to be something like "my life is ****** and i wish i were dead." The point is for it to be funny.

@5- The point of FML is for stories that inconvenience you, and are humourous to others. What do you want to read? "Today, my husband told me that he cheated on my with my sister and spent all of our savings (retirement, emergency, etc.) in a casino last night. To top it all off, I was fired today and woke up to find my cat, dead, lying across my chest. FML" Wow, that's just great.
