crickets are just about the healthiest (and according to some, most tasty) bugs there are.

atleast it wasnt a roach? but its still disgusting!!!!
#4, yes, but you don't eat something picked up off the floor having been dead for an indeterminate amount of time, no matter the nutritional content.

All we know is that the cricket was dead after it was removed from your mouth. We can't be certain it was dead when it was placed into your mouth.
Oh, God, I got the heeby jeebies after reading this.
and i wouldve gotten arrested cuz that baby wouldve been slapped
#4- you're silly. There's nothing healthy about a dead cricket that's been behind the couch for days.
Why were you having an infant feed you? 'You deserved this one'
As a person who works with children, I can tell you that a good rule is: NEVER let them put something in your mouth, especially without looking. It may not be clean or tasty.
#13: Chances are the infant was just picking up food and putting it in the babysitter's mouth, and the babysitter decided to humor her. I suppose it should have been somewhere where she couldn't grab random things off the floor, though.

i've actually eaten a cricket before. if you put seasoning on it, it's not so bad. seriously, it tastes like chicken and almonds.
dude, isn't that like...good protein? I had my cousin & friend eat flies on a dare before...drunken dares are always fun haha
xD That's adorable. I'm sorry it happened though. Nasty.

Oh you had first hand experience of eating like some sort of aboriginal peoples. Does that mean you're now cultured?
#19 - On 03/15/2009 at 1:00pm by Sulk
i just gagged a little. xP
i think kids are adorable (most of the time anyway), but a cricket? ew.
always watch what they're doing if they are feeding you. lol
hahaha props for the kid!!

gross but not the worst thing that will shoved into your mouth in your lifetime- sorry but its true ;)
#3 and #24 both that's what she said, sorry had to be said
That's disgusting. Why were you eating the toddler's banana in the first place? Or accepting anything directly into your mouth from a toddler's hands?? Especially when it's not even your own kid or anything, gross! Little kids are filthy. I wouldn't have even eaten the banana. I kind of have to say that you deserved this one.
you're an idiot for letting a dirty little kid decide what to feed you. You're lucky it didn't reach into it's pull-up for something else to feed you.

This was a good plan all around. You are cutting clay into small pieces to give to a child who is feeding you dead bugs. You weren't watching her as she fed you anything but a banana, so go ahead. Give her small bits of clay.
That clay was a total red herring. Didn't see the cricket coming.
EEWWWWW that is soooo gross!!!
YUCK!!
I totally agree with #13 and #14. I don't trust children.
This is why I don't allow the toddlers that I babysit to stick things in my mouth!

AHAHAHA nice bonding moment, then that delicious treat! the good moments are always ruined by something ridiculous, but usually funny in retrospect
No matter what a toddler is feeding you, you can't know where its hands have been, maybe in places worse than where the cricket has probably been
okay, im sorry but i started crying when i read this because i was laughing so hard.
but all the same, that does suck:/
#35 - On 03/16/2009 at 12:10am by s_mohan92
lol yes #29. i totally thought it'd be the clay. ended up so much worse >.
Oh my God, I would have cried!
That's sooo disgusting!
lol i thought it would be clay too....bwaciosjdf
i've had a similar experience, i once drank out of a glass i later realized had a couple little flies stuck to the inside...i didn't freak out, but i think if it had been a cricket in there, i most definitely would have screamed bloody murder.
I'm getting chills just thinking about it....arghgh. Well, from then on i was just really careful with cups that i picked up at the dining commons, as i'm sure you will be careful about letting toddlers stick things into your mouth xD
Ahahahahah. Babies ftw.
#40 - On 03/16/2009 at 12:36pm by jaql
a part of me thinks the kid did it on purpose for a laugh.
it is gross tho.
lol #8. i would cry my eyes out if that happened to me.
what a cute kid, aww

More protein than an 8oz steak.
Um.Little toddler. Huh. YOU LET A TODDLER FEED YOU. Of course you were gonna have a cricket or something put in your mouth.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! :X
That's gross! Haha. But what I wanna know is how did she find a beetle on the floor and be able to pick it up? What was the tray on?
#52 - On 05/16/2009 at 8:24am by PrettyVal
