Today, I took my dog for a walk. It became friendly with another dog, and I reached down to pet them both. Suddenly, an old woman runs up to me and whacks me with her cane repeatedly. Apparently, her previous dog had been kidnapped by a woman who looked a lot like me. FML

You should have kicked her in the kidneys and then apologized and told her that she looked a lot like another old woman who had previously hit you with her cane for no reason.
I doubt it matters who you look like. She's probably just a crazy old assaultive bitch. If she's so concerned about her dog, she shouldn't have it running around loose, anyway.

If u think about it, her last dog probably wasn't even kidnapped. It was probably taken in by somebody who thought it was a stray. She shouldn't let her dog roam around like that, especially if she's so concerned about it getting kidnapped.

Sue for assault charges, even if she is an old lady. If she hit you hard enough, you probably have bruises to prove she attacked you. Doesn't matter if you look like another person in the eyes of an old geezer. You have a more liable case than she does.

Did the old woman really run up to you? If so, why did she even have a cane? If she was that old, would she really not be wise enough to put her dog on a leash? If she's already lost one dog before I doubt she would not take more precautions in the future. This FML has some serious discrepancies.
