Yea, your grammer stinks but those questions are beyond 5th grade. I have a 5th grader and most of that stuff is way beyond what she is doing....the actual 5th grade questions I mean.
The questions on that show don't indicate intelligence. Almost all of the things they ask are about pointless knowledge that nobody truly learns in school. What they test people with is as pointless as a crossword puzzles.
Remember, there's a difference between being smart and knowing things.
That show is SO beyond 5th grade. I was watching an episode my junior year of high school, and they asked a question that I had learned less than two weeks prior. And of course the fake 5th grader knew it. Bullshit!

This game is about questions that most of people forgot the answer....We don't use that kind of information frequently.
its true.... ive watched that show... im in high school.. some of those questions are stuff I recently learned or refreshed memory on. They are not 5th grade questions at all. I didnt learn presidents in 5th grade except maybe the occasional Thomas Edison or who ever but high school american history is basically it. That show is not correctly aged if that makes any sense but you know what i mean.

Don't worry about it. That information is fresh out those kids minds. Who really cares if you don't know most of the questions on there. A lot of people don't. A 5th grader is not smart enough to live on its own.
it's ok, they only ask questions that are relevant to a 5th grader's curriculum. i can't answer some of those questions either, but it doesn't mean i'm dumb, it just isn't relevant or current anymore.
Seriously people? Now I'll admit that I have really only watched the German version, but it's fucking easy. How about you all pay attention in class, and if you're done with high school or college (and still can't answer questions on that show) go read some damn books.

This isn't even a FML. 90% of the people on that show can't even answer those questions. They also have to look at the other kids answers.
that show doesn't test how smart adults are, its shows how useless the information we learn in 5th grade is
But some of those questions are really trivial. Most people won't remember them. Also agree with what #57 said. When I watch the show I ask why grade 5 kids need to learn this for half of the questions.
I just wanted to say that having bad grammar doesn't make you dumb. It just makes you a illiterate, but not necessarily dumb. Are all dyslexic/ADHD and other people with diseases that affect their mind/concentration dumb? No, not necessarily. They're just a little challenged.

#5 and 16 FTW. The only reason those kids know that shit is because they learned it 5 minutes before the show started and they had to memorize it. Don't feel bad about your grammar or spelling anyway OP because even with the spellcheck system built in to the comment box, some of these people spelled words wrong or used incorrect grammar. Learn how to check your own English before criticizing others you over judgmental asshats.

I wouldn't be too hard on the guy. I read a lot, but there are still questions that stump me on that game show. A lot of the questions they actually ask is something you really don't learn in elementary school :/
