Today, I forgot I left my tampons in a grocery bag packed with food that I put into the fridge. I realized two hours later while frantically looking for a tampon. I'm still cold down there. FML

Today, I realized my wallet was missing right as I went to pay for my groceries. I frantically searched the store, retraced my steps, and finally found it. It was inside a freezer, where I'd apparently placed it in when I was grabbing ice cream five minutes earlier. FML
Today, I had just reached in my purse without looking to grab a granola bar when my boss walked in my office. We talked for a few minutes as he kept giving me strange looks and looking at my hand. He left and I realized I hadn't taken a granola bar out, but a tampon instead. FML
Today, I spent 10 minutes searching for my phone while on a call. Turns out, I had absentmindedly put it in the freezer while grabbing a snack. It was frozen solid, but at least I found it. FML
Today, I'm sick with a fever, and on my cycle I was too tired and forgot to change my tampon, and ended up putting another one in. I woke up to go to the bathroom and ended up pulling two out. FML
Today, as I was getting dressed after a shower, I spent a good 30 seconds searching for my underwear… which I'd already put on at that point. FML
Today, after frantically searching my house and office and calling every place I'd visited in the last 24 hours, I finally found my phone in my fridge. FML
Today, I went to the grocery store, but once I'd filled my cart, I realized that I'd forgotten my wallet, and because I'm not the sort of animal who just dumps stuff in random aisles, I had to awkwardly put all my items back on their shelves. FML
Today, I was mugged while changing my tampon. The mugger took everything, including the fresh tampon. FML
Today, I got my period and went clubbing. I had to change my tampon and stupidly I only brought one. When I unwrapped it, it fell on the floor. I had to wait in the womens' bathroom for 45 minutes for a random girl to give me a spare. FML
Today, while working in a dark nightclub, I dropped a red charger. Retracing my steps, I found it, or so I thought until I picked up a used tampon. FML

Who puts an entire bag of groceries into the fridge? Don't you have a system according to which items are organised in there? You know, like normal people?

you may be on to something there OP. cold temperatures slow the rate of blood flow and help with muscle cramps. now it only matters if sticking a popsicle up there is worth the results

Popscicles will cause infection...but this is still true. Coldness on the muscles can relieve pains. And a heating pad on the stomach will also help. Definitely might be on to something here.

I've done it before. It doesn't stay like that, but sometimes if I have to go somewhere right after grocery shopping I will put the bags of groceries in the appropriate places. Then I'll organize it when I come home.

My roommates used to do it all the time. It got so annoying. I can understand it if you're running late, but if you just go sit your ass at the TV and watch Ghost Hunters, then we got a problem.

Maybe it was just meat or something? Chicken being thawed? I know if it's meat being thawed or cooked soon after getting home with groceries we always just shove the bag itself into the fridge, to prevent blood going everywhere. I suppose, those tampons were in the right bag if this is the case.

Maybe it was just for the time being? Especially since OP is on her period. I know full well that if I was having bad cramps and feeling shitty, I'd just shove the groceries in the fridge to deal with them later. Mind you, I get cramps so bad that there's no way I'd be able to make it to the grocery store in the first place.
