Today, my mum excitedly discussed with me the prospect of starting a mother-son YouTube duo. Thinking she was joking, I went along with it. She is now installing a 24-hour webcam in the house to record our conversations, which she perceives as hilarious, and is going to upload them. FML

Hell no!
Today, I found out that my mother has been making videos every time she babysits my kids (who are 2 and 6 years-old) and uploading them to YouTube. She's retired, but out of boredom and need for attention, she seems to have tried making a family vlog channel, but with MY kids. FML
Today, I overheard my mother Skyping with her new "boyfriend" about the $1,000 she just sent him. She barely knew what internet dating was three weeks ago. FML
Today, my mother posted a video of me giving birth, on Facebook. FML
Today, my mom decided it was a good idea to put a camera in my room so I could be watched at all times, to make sure I'm behaving. I'm 14. FML
Spooked
Today, I was FaceTiming with my mum when she interrupted me to ask who 'the man behind me' was. I live alone, so I had a bit of a jump scare moment. She was so proud of her 'hilarious' prank, her laugh still haunts me. FML
Today, I discovered my wife has a YouTube channel dedicated to 20 second videos of her wearing a fake mustache and making weird sounds. FML
Today, I talked to my mom about hanging out with her. She got out her phone to schedule an appointment. FML
Family channels have issues
Today, I'm 16, my sister is 13 and our little brother is 9. Our parents just told us their plans to start a family vlog on YouTube, because, "It's made people rich. Don't you want to be rich?" I said I didn't want to be a part of such a humiliating enterprise, but they started filming me, as a "first family argument video." FML
Today, I made a couple of videos of me playing guitar and singing some of my favorite songs. I got back from school to find my family huddled around the camcorder, laughing, imitating, and making jokes about the video. FML
Today, I was testing out my new webcam on an msn Video Call with a friend I hadn't seen in a while. In an attempt to look cool, I pretended to have a very interesting phone conversation. Later I found out my webcam has a mic. She "heard" the whole thing. FML

Op, if she doesn't commit to this, great. If she does, run like hell.

I don't know, if she commits and it becomes viral it could be great and embarrassing.

Well, depending on the mom's sense of humor, and/or topic of conversation, it could be hilarious, or the most cheesiest thing ever.

What is her YouTube channel?

If she commits to it, I suggest he cease talking to her inside the house. Instead he should text her everything, and she's bound to stop... Unless she posts their texts as well. D:

#86 It's amazing how you were able to come up with that fantastic and no doubt original idea 8 hours after I did.

I think this is just a very clever way of Mum getting the nest cleared of her too old to be still at home kids. How old are you OP?

Just hope she is not going to/ already has a hidden secret camera in your room. That wouldn't be so 'hilarious'.

But you'd be Internet famous! That's almost as good as being famous!

Bye bye to your "happy time"!
HowieDoIt 21
Sir, you're profile picture literally goes hand in hand with this comment. Jolly good!

Unless she put cameras in the bathroom, he can still 'enjoy' a shower
DrunkButterfly 17
No, more "happy time" means more viewers!
Axipiter 24
Forget that. I'd go pantsless even if I had company, let alone a few creepy people watching me on the internet. Nobody should ever feel forced to wear pants in their own home. If people don't like, don't look.

#50 i agree mate, happy time regardless cameras, give em a show lol

That's what she TOLD you, but I imagine she really wants to make sure you're not jerkin' it at the computer. Coming home to a crusty desktop would probably push me to do the same.

Just wait until the bathroom scenes...

The first thing that popped into my head when I read this FML was, "Previously on Big Brother."
TylerBurden 21
Same thoughts but I was thinking about "previously on big mother".
matt98_fml 13
Big mother?? I don't think that's a show. :3

Damn dude, this gives a whole different meaning to, "somebody is watching"
hannaaaahr 33
This is pretty much the meaning of 'someone is watching'..
Mister_Triangle 21
Yeah, it's the exact same meaning it's been for a thousand years.
