Today, I was DJ'ing a wedding. The groom wanted a song played for his grandma and grandpa. I announce over the microphone for his grandparents to come to the dance floor for a special song. Turns out his grandparents have been dead for over a year and the song was supposed to be in dedication. FML

it is not your fault. They didn't tell you anything. You did your job, you are fine.

Ouch, that sucks. At least it was just a job and you didn't know any of them on a personal level.

Eh, I would've thought the same thing. You're not a mindreader, how could you have known?

It was an honest mistake, don't feel too bad about it...stuff happens, ya know? =]

you chundered them like phucking scarecrow teeth

if they didn't tell you then it's their fault not yours. oh well.

Haha, it's not really your fault though. They didn't say it was in dedication of them, did they?

Yeah, if they didn't tell you they are deceased (sp?), then it isn't your fault. Don't you hate weird moments like that hahaha xD
