Today, my boyfriend asked me why girls don't have armpit hair. FML
Today, I explained to my teenage daughter that enough was enough and she needed to start shaving her armpits again, stating it was unladylike and unsanitary. Her only response was, "If it's so unsanitary, why don't you make my brother do it?" I give up. FML
Today, I had to explain to my boyfriend that yes, girls do get armpit hair, we just have to shave it. FML
Today, I came across one of the pitfalls of having open discussions with my 15-year-old son when he asked me how to shave his pubes. FML
Today, I overheard my mom telling my younger sister not to use my razors because she "doesn't know what I may have." FML
Today, my teenage daughter asked me to buy her the morning after pill, saying, "It's for my acne." FML
Today, whilst taking a shower, I noticed my razor wasn't in its usual spot. Upon inspecting it closer, I noticed that there were tiny white hairs in it. When confronting my father about it, he claimed the "pink razors" are his. We've been sharing the same razor this entire time. FML
Today, my 19-year-old daughter got a haircut. When I asked her if she tipped the hairdresser, she looked at me in horror and asked, "You’re supposed to tip hairdressers?" FML
Today, I bought an expensive razor that's supposed to be great. My roommate asked if she could borrow it, and as her legs just looked like they needed touching up, I said sure. After a strangely long amount of time, she came back, thanked me and left. Her legs were still hairy. FML
Today, in front of my friends, my mom came after me with a pair of tweezers exclaiming, "There's just a couple of hairs on your chin that need to be plucked." I'm a 14 year-old girl. FML

You see hairy female armpits every day? The media, in every form, promote female body hair as wrong and unclean. Pick up day magazine, turn on any tv show etc and find me a hairy female armpit without stigma attached to it and I'll concede the media don't hide female body hair.

@86 hair in lower places can be very unclean, and unattractive, thus why it isnt desired by most of society, or is advertised publicly. The media wants to sell its product, and putting disgusting attributes in the pictures isnt going to market very well, is it? Get over it and shave or use cream like normal people.
