Today, I confronted my boss for his office-wide hypocrisy about time management and consideration of others. He flat out claimed he didn't have to practice what he preached, because he was the boss and could do whatever he liked. It appears my boss is a two-year-old disguised as a 48 year old. FML

You seem to miss the point about how he is your boss. He's your boss, he has say over your work life. There's a reason he's the boss. And his boss gets to determine whether or not the same rules apply to him. That's how these hierarchies work.

I know that feeling! My boss comes in 1.5 hours late, leaves at least 1.5 hours early, and never works a weekend. Must be nice!

I had a boss do the same thing, but with dress code. Believe me, it's a symptom of a deeper problem. Dress up your resume and resume your job search. Get out while you can still laugh about it.
