We can't be sure that OP has a problem. Some people drink beer like others drink soda. I know a few guys around here will knock out a 12 pack just sitting around the house daily. They don't have a drinking problem because they aren't drinking to get drunk. So lets say OP drinks on average 12 beers per day, 12 multiplied by 7 is 84. Obviously 84 beer cans look like a lot, but as I said he may just drink beer like soda so it really isn't an ungodly amount of beer, it just seems that way.

I think drinking 12 cans of soda every day is a pretty ungodly amount of soda. Or at least a very unhealthy amount. Twelve cans of beer a day is just as bad or worse.

It's only a problem if it interfers with his everyday life, really. As long as he doesn't miss work because he's drunk (or go to work drunk), there's not really anything wrong with drinking a lot.

That depends on how many people are at your house. If OP is doing the same, but living alone, there is likely a problem.
