Today, I was baking cookies. When I took the tray out of the oven I closed the door, but it bounced back open and hit me in the back of the knees. That caused me to sit down on the hot oven door. I was just wearing my short bathrobe and no underwear. I really burned my ass and um...stuff. FML

#20, I believe he shut the oven door by pushing it up with the back of his leg, which is not that hard to do. I always do that, shutting the refrigerator or pantry door with my foot because I have stuff in my hands.
I've never seen an oven door bounce back though.

(0)I can see this happening, the oven at my grandma's house is really old and has a habit of bouncing back, I have a scar on my arm to prove it. I feel really bad for you, hopefully the smell of cookies covered up the stench of burned flesh.

You should go to the hospital if you haven't already. Burns to the perineum / genitalia are taken very seriously - they are considered Major Burns by the American Burn Association - and are listed in the criteria for transferring a patient to a regional burn center.

(0)Girlfriends have been know to make their boyfriend dress up in, um, "interesting" clothes for them. And maybe he was baking cookies for his girlfriend... I don't think it is reprehensible for a man to bake cookies. The problem is with the oven, not the dude.

(0)Oh sweets, I hope you get better soon. But if your "stuff" is red, and really sensitive, or possibly even starts to blister, see a doctor right away. During the healing process, since the skin is so fragile down there, while healing the skin could fuse together.
