Today, I had my anus probed twice by two different doctors. I was diagnosed with hemorrhoids. I'm a 22 year old guy and have to schedule a colonoscopy for next week. I guess there's a first time for everything. FML

I see people in their 20's with hemorrhoids regularly. It isn't as uncommon as you think.

When the colonoscopy gets done, make sure you bring the wine and candles. It's a very romantic occasion.

The child in me wants to say 'what what in the butt.' The adult in me is squirming because I'd hate to have that done. I hope everything is ok OP and that it isn't to embarrassing. I hate to go to the Drs when I have a 'personal' problem. I know people say that Drs have seen it all before... but it's not the same when it's your own private place. Though you know the Dr has seen all sorts it's more exposing yourself in a situation that's so tense or official. It's uncomfortable.
