Today, I was blowing my husband when we heard that distinctive shutter noise, and we realised our daughter had taken a photo of us. Apparently, she meant to take a video because she knows a website where any kind of "spying on people having sex" video will earn her $50. FML

Time to give her some serious punishments. There is no respect here, she’s exchanging lifelong consequences of having a **** video online (for you) for a mere 50$ (for her). Either she got some serious mental problems or you need to rethink her education.

Some kids know how to unlock doors. My 5 year old has been able to unlock doors since he was 2.

My kids have also but they know not to unlock them due to punishment as well

My girlfriend's son caught us by unlocking the door. We now just go on date nights to get a room. Yeah more expensive, but much safer for us and we don't subject the kids to seeing that.

Sure thing, my kid can open doors and turn keys as well at 3. However when I lock a door with a key, a person on the other side can't usually open it. (Unless they lockpick it or something).

It's quite possible to just put a keyed lock on inside doors, you know. You aren't required to use the ones that came with the house.

The kid sounds like a developing sociopath. They didn't do anything to cause that, it's a genetic abnormality.

That is wildly inappropriate. You have no way to know from an FML and just the fact that you would even say a child of undetermined age is a sociopath based off of a few lines is, to be frank, disgusting, and it shows that you have no right to lay such judgement. EVEN IF the child IS a sociopath, I did say that they require therapy. That still stands. To add; no adult in charge of people under 18 or immature should be doing ANYTHING sexual without the door locked. It is, again, wildly inappropriate. If the child responded like this, what are the chances that this is the first time they saw their parents in the act?

How old is your daughter? And why was the door unlocked? Plus, since when do any kids want to even think of their parents having sex, much less get it on video? Blech.
