I like how people say to breakup with this guy because he plays around with something that could be awkward or hard for him to deal with. Yet, if he said he wanted to breakup with her for beeping he's shallow. The day joking around receives only defensive retorts is the day after you should have broken up anyway. This has nothing to do with respect, since him joking with her is more respect then acting like its a "problem" that will be swept under the rug.

Your "syndrome" is not factual. Tourette disorder does not work like that physiologically. This is offensive to those with the disease.

I'm sorry to hear that, OP. As someone who also has tourettes, I feel your pain. Thankfully none of my friends are asses about it and it's gotten to the point where mine have become less...obvious. I hope that yours will too someday. I hope you don't have OCD as well, I can tell you the two of those together make for some awkward ticks haha
