Today, I really upset my housemates when I opened my bedroom door to find them - and their friends - doing meth. At 2 a.m. on a Monday. I didn't even say anything, but it's drama and I just want to sleep. I start back at work in 4 hours. FML

Today, I suffered a mental breakdown. I told my roommates about it, and they decided to throw a very loud party while I was sobbing in my room, unable to sleep. My Xanax prescription ran out, I have no more sick days, and I have to wake up in two hours to work a ten hour day. FML

Today, after a week of insomnia, I finally managed to fall asleep. Thirty minutes later, my friends decided to bang on my door, yelling at me to wake up and party with them. I'm now wide awake and hallucinating from lack of sleep. FML

It’s time to move. Meth is a nasty drug that can cause paranoia, auditory and visual hallucinations, and destroy the part of the brain that helps with reasoning and empathy. I have personally seen how fast people can turn unrecognizable from using it. Lock your bedroom door any minute you are away from it. If you have any sentimental or valuable items, move them off site, either to a friend or family member you trust or a bank or storage unit. I promise you, your things will start to disappear. And start looking for a new place!
