Today, the girl of my dreams confessed she loved me, and I confessed my love to her. The only problem, she's the mother of my 6 year old nephew. My moral compass is so confused... FML

There is no way to "win" here. People will be hurt no matter what you two do. Go easy on everyone involved.

No matter what happens, a lot of people are going to feel hurt in someway. If you decide to pursue the relationship, for god sake just don't start the relationship out with cheating, that goes for both you and her. Trust me, that will make everything worse and hurt people twice as bad, especially since there's a child involved. If you want to maintain your moral compass at least a little bit, before anything happens, make sure you end both of your relationships. Sometimes people fall in love and it's uncontrollable, I don't blame you for that, and I would completely understand if you pursued a relationship, but in the meantime, it's still up to you to control your actions until you can figure out what you're going to do, that doesn't change.

She's your sister? Or she was previously with your brother?

I think there are a lot of factors to consider here. If she is currently with your brother, whether they seriously involved before, who ended it, and so on. There is a huge difference between falling in love with your brother's wife and falling in love with the woman he accidentally got pregnant during a one night stand.
