Just put out a small backpack with a few changes of clothes, and a note saying "You're getting out today ************." See how long your kid thinks he knows what's what after a few nights in the real world....

i've done that before... as a teenager i can explain. i hope i speak for the most of us when i say that we need more independence! yeah..we may have done something(s) in the past to ruin your trust but either: 1. we truely do know it's a mistake and don't even plan on doing it again or 2. we will want to do it again no matter how long we get grounded for it in the case of two you just need to let us live and learn! don't try to convince us that your decision is for the better because all it does is make us feel stronger about how wrong you are and try to understand our viewpoints parents who act like they were never our age and never did anything bad are soooo lame. ( sorry no offence if you are one of those parents ) we will always love you but please eez up on the punishments and protection because truthfully some parents care a little much hope i wasnt disrespectfull at all thanks! (:

aw dont be too hard on him. mother ****** doesnt really mean one that enjoys intercorse with one that has bore a child. its just a really popular phrase especially for young guys eh.. so does milf (mother id like to F***) you get this stuff on t-shirts and everything i doubt he has an attraction to mothers

Wow, who said anything about snooping, the kid did not sign out, what if they were going on next and saw the writing? Can't be that bad, the kid in bitching on the internet, and his parent was freaking about this situation. If they went through worse, this would not have been posted as and fml. Kid sounds like a douche, but who knows, parent may be abusive, it happens.

This isn't or at least shouldn't be normal teenage behavior. It means your child wants to get away from you. You're upsetting him. Yes, teenagers are angsty, but there's reason behind their angst. I love my mom to no end because she's respectful to me. She TRIES for me, unlike a lot of parents. Kids can be in so much pain but never have abusive/neglectful parents. You couldn't believe how much a child hurts when you take away something, ANYTHING, important to them.
