Today, my phone wasn't working properly. After sending out 40 texts and getting no replies, I decided to test my phone by sending it a text from my old phone. The text came through straight away. Turns out my phone's working perfectly and 40 people are just ignoring me. FML

Today, I got a new cell phone. I was unable to retrieve my old contact list from my old phone, so I sent out a mass email asking my friends to "Give me your contact info, unless you don't want me to text/call you!" No one is responding. FML

Today, my phone chose not to deliver a message to my girlfriend. This isn't the first time either; It has a habit of failing to deliver or receive messages to/from her, making it look like I'm ignoring her by not responding. It only does this with her, none of my other contacts. My phone may be trying to sabotage my relationship. FML

Hmm. That sucks. On the other hand, if you sent 40 texts with no reply, you're probably annoying. I personally hate it when random people just text "heyy..." or "..." or "wat up" (yes, the misspelling is intentional. Seriously, T9word gives no excuse for using stupid spelling). If you actually have something to text about, no problem. If you're just wanting attention, I can't say I have much sympathy for you. Instead of obsessing over the amount of use your phone is getting, maybe you should take a walk or read a book. Do something that's not needy and obnoxious. Then you'll actually have something to talk about and maybe people will actually text you back.

Agreed, 144. Since when did texting become the major form of communication? The insincerity is mutual.... If you really care about your friends, give them enough respect to give them an actual call, for goodness sake.
