Today, my parents posted on Facebook that they were excited that my sister was pregnant and couldn't wait to be grandparents. Last week I told them that I, a 33-year-old happily married woman, was pregnant and they told me I was ruining my life and encouraged me to have an abortion. FML

Some people in my family were of the opinion that I should never procreate. They felt really bad when they learned that I actually have a disease which prevents me from having children. The joke was on them.

Well I would just say when my baby here you won't be cause you wanted the baby dead and your sister is your only grandchild you will have been down this road already it suck but I'm sure you will be fine

there are no details about your sister here. i take it that she isnt 33 or happily married since they are the things you pointed out but maybe your sister is in a better place for a kid. age and marriage arent the only cornerstones of a good family. your family should not have treated you like that tho.
