Today, I thought I'd lost the ring that my boyfriend had given me, in the snow, in the dark. I spent a half hour with a flashlight searching every part of my driveway. The ring was on my kitchen windowsill the whole time. I took it off earlier to do dishes. FML

Today, I’ve been the proud owner of an engagement ring for about 7 hours, and I’ve just spent the last 4 of them desperately searching for the damn thing, as I’ve lost it already. I daren’t tell my partner, since he was so sure I’d lose it, he'd told me to put it in our safe, and I stubbornly refused. FML

One of our dogs swallowed a sharp pebble. Our vet told us to feed the dog canned spinach. Apparently the spinach is supposed to wrap around the object and help it pass through the digestive track. Anyway, we tried it and it worked like a charm. Just a suggestion.
