Today, my boyfriend of a year decided to confess to me that almost everything he has told me in our relationship has been a lie. This includes telling me that he was single when we first met, telling me that he loved me, and telling me that I was beautiful. FML

ART your seeing this the wrong way. Your boyfriend is one messed up freak and needs the therapy. Your not the only person he hurt. Your not at fault here. He probably going to hurt more women emotionally in the future as well. Do what you do with all your bad memories and just delete his exist out of your brain.

same thing happened to me too. Men are assholes sometimes - well most of the time - so you just have to remember that the only person you can really ever count on is you. Someone does or will love you, someone does or will think you're beautiful, and that someone won't be a complete asshole. just takes time.
