Today, it was snowing. I slipped on the ice and fell in the middle of the road, dislocating my left shoulder and knee. As I was screaming in pain and trying to stand up, two boys on the pavement threw snowballs at me while everyone in the cars just drove around me. FML

a few years ago i was being beaten up by a group of five girls on my way home from a friends. they fractured my cheek and broke a rib. the attack lasted about 15 minutes. it was on a main roan in rush hour traffic. there where about 50 cars going past at a reasonably slow pace and not one of them stopped. so i totally believe this post is real and wouldn't be surprised if they where from manchester. the asbo culture around england is awful.

no, I'm sorry, this is not true. If you slip on ice, you need to have a one in a million fall while twisting to dislocate your shoulder and your knee. I've taken terrible spills playing basketball where I'm at the height of my jump, get undercut, and end up flipping around and falling flat on a hip or shoulder, without ever breaking a bone or dislocating anything I believe someone fell in the ice and kids threw snowballs but nothing was broken, someone's just a big British pussy embellishing their injuries

Yeah, because shit doesn't happen, rite? Just because you don't dislocate your shoulder or anything else when you fall, doesn't mean that it cannot happen to other people.

I dislocated my knee while just walking(like you step in a large hole with one leg, you just fall down, cause there is no strenght on your knee) and with going to the toilet, and while turning over in my sleep. So this could have happend. I have had a dislocated knee for 7 times in the last 2 years, I have had surgery, fysiotherapy, and I have to wear a brace around my knee every single day to keep my kneecap from shifting. It is not so lovely to see your lower leg in a very weird position and twisted in a way that is impossibke for a normal person. (BTW: I suffer from weak muscles, so it goes fairly easy shifting my kneecap, and can twist it myself, and mover it up and down from side to side)(no, its no fun)
