Today, I went to the mall with my mom. We were in American Eagle shopping for spring clothes, when a few good looking guys walked by and whistled at me. I smiled at them. They were checking out my mom, not me. FML

Today, I was out shopping with my mom. While we were walking, a guy in a car honked at me. I'm not used to compliments, so I was pretty flattered and flashed him a smile. He looked back at me, confused, then shook his head and pointed at my mom. FML

Today, I went to the mall with two friends. A modelling scout approached us and asked both of my friends if they were interested in modelling. When the scout finally noticed me, she asked if I was their mom. We're all the same age. FML

Today, I was at the mall with some friends. In the food court we passed by this creepy pervert feeling up a woman. I take a closer look and realize with horror that the guy is my dad in sunglasses and a hat. The lady he was with was not my mom. FML

Today, I was in Walmart with my mom. I was looking for some CDs I wanted and saw a cute guy. Then he nodded at me and as he started to walk towards me, I hear my name being called over the intercom. Apparently, according to my mom, it was time to go. FML

Today, my mom and I went to the mall to look for some boxer briefs. While looking, I saw two girls I knew from school, so I went over to say hello. At least, that was my plan, but my mom screamed, "Look! These have dinosaurs on them!" They left the store giggling. FML

I don't know why some people here have been hating on American Eagle. The fact that she went to American Eagle doesn't make it a "you deserved it" situation, I would just say that "you're right, your life IS ******". (To the OP): Possibly when you get your mother's age, you will look like her, but I am sure that you are beautiful now. Also I have a question(that is bound to get unanswered), how do you know that those guys were whistling at your mom, not you?

Iv had the same thing happen to me. My mom is only 17 years older than me, and only looks like she's 5 years older than me. Lol, over half my boyfriends start singing 'stacy's mom' to me after meeting her. Its ok, you eventually get past it, and just never bring guys home!

just because they whistled at your mom instead of you, doesn't mean you aren't pretty. it probably means that your mom is just an extremely attractive mother, and they were just impressed. if i were you, i wouldn't worry.
