Today I was walking to catch bus to work. my bag started slipping off my shoulder. Hooked my thumb under strap to lift back up but thumb slipped and I punched myself in the jaw. All 10 people at usually empty bus stop saw. One guy at least had decency to turn away while laughing. FML.

Today, I was relaxing at home while my boyfriend played with his hamster. After a while of silence, my boyfriend came over and put his fingers next to my face. Trying to be cute, I stuck his fingers in my mouth and sucked on them. Turns out he was trying to show me how bad hamster pee smells. FML

Today, my mom overheard me telling my 6 year-old about periods. My mom condescendingly asked, “Isn’t she a bit young for that?” That’s pretty rich coming from a woman who didn’t want to share the TV, so all of us grew up watching whatever violent or raunchy sex filled R-rated crap she wanted to watch.
