I get the feeling your friend isn't actually confused, but is trying to *nicely* point out that your boyfriend IS nice, and you're just ungrateful. This isn't really an FML except for the part where the OP is confused and spoiled.

Your boyfriend is NICE to your friends!?!?!? OMFG WTF FYL. You must prefer those guys who everyone hates and you just know that they are "misunderstood" and "good inside". You know, the kind all your friends say you are too good for until finally you catch them slipping the lizard to some barely legal **** movie reject, but you give them a second chance cause they were really sorry. Man, FYL, this guy sounds like a total loser.
