Today, I was taking a shower at my sister's Chicago apartment. I was rinsing, when something flew out of my hair. Turns out, it was a flying roach.

Ugh that's just terrifying! You didn't feel it when it first landed? I would've freaked out, hit my head against the wall, passed out and possibly died after hitting my head a second time but on the floor.

I was expecting the "Chicago" detail to be relevant to the story. :/ Not sure how you got all the way to rinsing before you noticed it.

OP here. I think it came through the fan part of the bathroom? Not sure. I didn't see it land on my head or anything. It flew up to the ceiling and disappeared after a few minutes. Crisis averted I guess.
