Today, I had my headphones on while on the bus. I didn't realize how loud the music was till the woman sitting next to me punched me for changing her favorite song and then "ignoring her" when she asked me to put it back. FML

Unless the OP was starring at the same spot for a few good seconds, whether it be at the wife or something near her, it seems to me that the man just used an excuse to punch someone in the face (and make himself look like a hero in front of his wife). With all the crazy people running around these days, I will not be surprised if my guess is correct.
