Today, after not being able to sleep for two hours because my boyfriend wouldn't stop talking, he fell asleep and I was left wide awake. I listened to him snore for another three hours and only got a couple of hours sleep. He's not working today, but I am. FML

Today, I was on the phone with my boyfriend for an hour listening to him talk about his new truck and his final exams. I literally did not say a single word. Just as I said, "Hey baby, guess what happened to me today?", he says, "Can I go to sleep? I'm too tired to guess. Night." FML

Here's the problem. You probably kept him up really late and THEN started to talk to him about the problems, but obviously he was exhausted so he fell asleep. Did you try talking to him when he was awake and alert, preferably after his coffee and morning rituals? No? There's your problem.
