Today, I stopped at a red light. I noticed the car in front of me had the reverse lights on. I thought to myself "Meh, that person must know. They wouldn't do that." The light turned green. Turns out they didn't. Nor did they have insurance. FML

Damn that sucks...the first time i ever drove i did that in a residential neighborhood except i was the one in reverse....and the car behind me was a brand new Mercedes SL55. He pulled up very close behind me cus he was very impatient. I floored it...how i didnt hit him i dont know, i guess i must have spidy reflexes, but i came to a stop about 5 inches away from him.

Can you say "HONK!" HONK until they fix things :P Fool.. besides, even if they "reversed" into you, - you were too close and technically "you rear ended them" and they're entitled even though really they were the stupid ones.... too close since they easily backed into you....

how is this a fml? The guy didn't have insurance so it's their fault not yours.

thats sucks for the OP but #28 has a point that some cars like a BMW have reverse all the way on the left instead of on the right

I don't get why the car would have been in reverse in the first place? But anyway, that sucks. But it's obviously their fault so they'll have to pay for it, so it doesn't seem like it's a fyl.

probobly american. I was in the same exact situation and I honked at him to get his attention. He flipped me off and THEN rammed into my hood. and apparently i rammed him in the back. not only did I have to pay for my damages, but for his as well. dam 90% of americans are douchebags wats wierd is that im american FYL

"Nor" is only used in a sentence after a comma, when the word 'Neither' is presented in the 1st half of the sentence.

Hmm...maybe I just don't understand driving rules (I'm underage) but it seems like they got the worst part of this situation. I mean, they A) were stupid enough to not realize they were in reverse, B) the perpetrator of the accident, and C) they don't have insurance. F THEIR life. Really sucks about the car, though.

it does not matter if they don't have insurance. you should get coverage for any damage to your car under the "uninsured motorist" provision of your own auto insurance policy
