Today, I saw a man lying on the street. He seemed unconscious, so, being a nurse I went over and found he had choked. I removed the object from his throat and used CPR to revive him. My reward? A mouthful of vomit. FML

agree with everyone else. So you had to deal with an unappealing part of your job. I think it's worth it if it means saving someone's life.

If you are a nurse you need CPR training again cause they tell you not to exhale into their lungs anymore only to do chest compressions

Wtf did you think was gunna happen after he'd choked? You're a nurse, you should have expected vomit. He isn't just gunna sit up and go "thanks dude, but you better move for a sec because I need to vomit out whatever else got stuck" Well done for saving his life and all, but this isn't really an FML, it's an occupational hazzard

you were supposed to move him to his side when he makes noises of some sort!!!! i just took a lifeguard class :) which had cpr included.
