Today, I polished off the delicious iced gingerbread cookies in the pantry. I'd assumed the little flecks on them were speckles of broken icing, but as I went to throw the cookie bag away, a larva crawled out. The hundreds of flecks were moth eggs. I've been eating the cookies for three days. FML

YDI for being a dirt bag and eating old Xmas cookies on august

Wow. I can credit this FML for getting me to finally join. Word of advice: don't read this while eating.

Do gingerbread cookies only exist around Christmas time? Is that why everyone's assume the cookies have been sitting in her pantry for 8 months? OP - Your stomach acids will kill them. Although, I'd probably take a laxative - there's no way I want that shit sitting in my digestive tract for long, even if it may not be harmful.

*barf* D: sorry about that OP. I had a similar incident when I ate the raisin bran cereal..poured it into a bowl, added the milk, took a bite and...BEHOLD! I find moth wings and a few body parts in my cereal :)

Eating them for three days? Did they not taste awful after the first bite?

#60 he had already stated that he's been eating them for three days and I don't know how long they been sitting there to get thousands of moth eggs! obviously since Xmas lol

I didn't post the dumbass part. Apologies, my friend was messing around on my account
