Uh, no. Elevator mechanics can't do anything while they are stuck in an elevator. Maybe, he was working at a place where there are multiple elevators, and he used a working one and got stuck in it. It's not like he can do anything if he's stuck in an elevator on the way down.

Doctors get sick, so what? Now, if you got stuck in the elevator you had just fixed, that would be ironic. Either that, or it shows you suck at what you do.

Hope it was a competitor's elevator so you could at least feel smug! Oh and I hope you'd been to the bathroom before you got in *shudder* one of my greatest fears, stuck in an elevator with a full bladder.

umm if you are inside the elavator when it gets stuck there's not much you can do to fix it... you usually have to go up to the machine room to do so... I build elevators also so I say that this is a very real fml... I feel for you bro... local18... but if you are non-union ydi for being a pos
