Today, I mentioned to my mum that one of my friends is pregnant. She decided I was lying, that I'm the one who's actually pregnant, and that I'm going to get checked out by a doctor. FML

Today, my ex told me that she's 3 weeks pregnant with my child. Not only was she on her period when I broke up with her last week, her friend let me know that the positive pregnancy test she showed me was a fake that she'd bought online. FML

Today, I discovered that my supposed 'friend' was spreading rumours about me and my other friends. We confronted her, but then she started crying and playing the victim so everyone would feel sorry for her, then spread more rumours. My friends and I have done nothing to her. FML

Today, I found out my best friend was cheating on her boyfriend. After confronting her boyfriend and showing him proof, he responded with denial and didn't believe me. Now my whole circle of friends not only think I'm trying to start a rumor, but that I'm a home wrecker. FML

Today, my attention-seeking sister-in-law came to my 20 week ultrasound and afterward, without my knowledge, took it upon herself to announce the gender to Facebook and call the entire family, telling them "we're having a boy" nullifying any need for the announcement I had spent 4 weeks planning. FML

Today, my best friend promised me that she'd be there after a rough night the night before. Hours later, I did some digging and found out that she went ahead and called another group of friends behind my back, and then told me to stop being a baby when I figured it out. FML

Today, I found out my coworker faked having COVID so she could go on vacation. I guess she forgot that we follow each other on Instagram. I saw all her pictures of her drinking and at the beach enjoying herself. I’ve been doing the bulk of her work and staying overtime. FML

First things first - dump the garbage and find someone who will really be your friend. You do NOT need this kind of stress in your life right now. Second - Congratulations on your upcoming bundle of joy! They will leave you exhausted 24/7, making you wonder if you can actually do it. But the very first time your baby holds your finger in their tiny little hands; you'll know it's all worth it. Good luck & God bless.

They wouldn't be my best friend anymore if someone did that to me. I think you should "dump" her as a friend. She will just be negative to you and your child. I hope your pregnancy goes smoothly and you have a beautiful child

Congrats on the baby :) Make sure the other workers know that she went to the ultrasounds with you, and I'd say end the friendship with her immediately. At work, refer to your baby bump as "Ellen's Imaginary Baby" or whatever that b*tches name is. Don't let people forget what a lying manipulative ass that woman was, but do it in an amused and funny fashion. "Ellen, I'm off to my imaginary ultrasound tomorrow. I take it you don't want to pretend to go with me again?" She'll then look very stupid in a few months and the coworkers will be aware that she's a dishonest drama queen out to make problems and will be less likely to be suckered by her in the future. Oh, and if she asks why she's not invited to the baby shower, look surprised and ask if the imaginary invitation didn't arrive?
