It was negative 25 degrees below zero? So it was 25 degrees? That's not so bad. Seriously, though: #10, -25 degrees isn't deadly if you're dressed appropriately. With long underwear, sweater, warm coat, hat and gloves you can easily survive a two mile walk, and if you live somewhere where it gets that cold you learn to always wear clothing that's warm enough. Also, to the people arguing over whether cops have quotas, obviously it depends on the police department. You're all morons.

My brothers a cop, and I'm in Training. We don't have quotas. It's true our departments funding depends on the amount of arrests we make, but it does not affect our salary.

Police don't have quotas, they don't need them. They don't make up tickets, people are dumb enough without them. If it was -25, a two mile walk would have been deadly, you should have gotten an extra ticket for being stupid. If you live where it gets cold, you know dang well that you stay with the car. Also, why would he wait by your car? If you left the scene, the assumption would be you weren't coming back.
