Today, I caught my boyfriend stealing money from my purse. He tried to turn it on me by claiming I'll owe him for the flowers he'll get me on Valentine's Day, then tried to make me feel guilty by saying the whole thing is for "selfish bitches anyway". FML

Why buy you a gift if he's going to claim you owe him for it?! That defeats the entire point of a gift. I understand it when people don't want to celebrate Valentines day for various reasons, but your boyfriend could just say that rather than pretend to be okay with it and then steal from you. Sounds like he's either too ashamed / guilty of you catching him out, so he is trying to deny doing anything wrong, or he's simply not a very nice guy :(
