Today, at the age of 32, I found out a friend of my mom’s from high school is my biological dad. Not the man who raised me that she was married to for 19 years. FML

Doesn't make the other man less of a father. And when you say they were married for 19 years, are you saying that your father is dead or did they divorce? If it is a no to both, the massive difference between how long your parents were married and your age should have made you ask some questions.

Agree with the father bit but regarding the time married they could have simply married after the child was born. My nephew is 16. His parents have been married 6 years for example.

Today, if I try to hurry my wife out of the house before she's ready, she yells at me and we end up not going out, and yet if I leave her to get ready for as long as she needs we are ALWAYS late for our reservation, so we lose the table and she yells at me for not telling her how late we are. FML

Today, I worked with a sweet old lady. She refused to cook most of the food on the menu, and the food she did cook was super oily. When she received complaints about it, she blamed me for not draining the oil. When the customer defended me, she then told the customer it was her job to drain the oil. FML

Today, campus security called to inform me that my car had been in an accident. I rushed down to the security office to find most of the officers laughing. A portable john blew over on to my car and smashed my rear window. Now, security calls me "Port-A-Potty Guy," and my car smells like shit. FML

Today my wife told me she really wanted to have sex, and to wait in bed while she got ready. Turns out get ready means do the dishes, feed the dogs, clean the cat's litter tray, phone her sister, make coffee, shower, and wait for the dryer to dry her pyjamas. By the time she got in bed, I'd fallen asleep. FML
