Today, at Church, the little boy sitting behind me asked his mother if I had the chicken pox, because there were red dots all over my face. I've had bad acne since I was twelve. FML

Today, I was talking to my parents when all of a sudden my dad started freaking out and asking my mom how I got this really bad allergy on my face. My mom just laughed, and then I had to explain to him that it was just my acne. The worst part is that he was dead serious the whole time. FML

Today, I thought my face was breaking out with pimples, and I thought it was weird because I never break out. And I noticed all these "bug bites" all over my body. When I got home, I realized those weren't bug bites. I have chicken pox, and my high school graduation is tomorrow. FML

Today, while looking in the mirror at my full-blown grease-spewing acne-riddled face, my father came up behind me and said, "Don't worry son, I had acne like that when I was your age". I replied, "No you didn't", and his immediate response while laughing was, "No, I didn't." FML

Today, I finally went to the doctor's office to have a small patch of acne on my stomach looked at. Since it was in an almost perfect circle and abnormally sensitive, I was worried it could be ringworm or some other sort of skin infection. It turned out to be an infection alright. Herpes. FML

A kid told me to my face I was ugly because I had all these red dots on my face that were "definitely NOT freckles" -- I went on Accutane shortly after that (because my acne was HORRIBLE) and it worked wonders. I'm so sorry you had to deal with cruel children too :(

The same thing happened to me at work. I'm a cashier, and I see alot of shit, but one thing parents should teach their kids these days is what acne is cuz kids are hitting puberty faster and faster.

i kno how u feel. i have bad face problems tooo.....my 2 year old cousin looked at my face and said "ill go getu band aids" i asked why. he said i got cut up all over the face......so its no biggy...kids are kids....

22 i feel your pain. Same goes for me. It took me nearly 5 years to get onto accutane, trying EVERY OTHER KIND of acne medicine. What's worse is that it completely kills your confidence, and because of how horrible I looked I am almost 18, never had a girl friend, date, or first kiss... ugh... all I know is that it can't get much worse...

#4 same haha. acne has only gotten worse. FML. Though I still pull girls hotter then most my friends can, and have a toned and cut body so I don't complain much =P. By the way I have heard horrible things about Accutane, they say it works well because it stops oil production in the cells... something that clears it up quick but is very damaging to your skin.

maybe you should try some type of acne medication or scrub? I use clyisyl (spelling?) and I think it works amazingly. twice a day! or go see a dermatologist.
