Today, my school caught a kid with a firearm, so during our lunch period we had to stay in our classrooms and nobody can leave and nobody can get food. FML

Sorry if I sound stupid, but I'm glad your hungry instead of dead. Still, I don't get why they did not send you all home if they have the guy... Unless they think someone else has a gun? I hope you had a proper lunch after that... One thing I learned, both during school and work, is always have food and water in your bag. You never know.

at least you won't starve to death ...rather than death by a fire arm have no idea why are you complaining ...chill ..eat some papers .. read a book ...you're lucky they caught the firearm and that lunch won't be your last meal God forbid
