Kids often have no filter between what they think and what they say. And they can sometimes be a strong motivation for using birth control. But seriously, while this was obviously embarrassing to you I am sure no harm was done. Almost everyone knows that kids sometimes say weird or embarrassing things. I would however suggest to you that this might be a clue that maybe you should discuss your romantic or dating situation less with your child. While your child was trying to be “helpful” to you, this is an indication that they might be a little over-exposed on this topic either from direct conversations with them or by overhearing your phone conversations - Children have very good (though sometimes selective) hearing. It’s also a good opportunity to teach some basic values like treat people the way you would want to be treated. You wouldn’t want someone telling Mom’s boyfriend or husband to look elsewhere instead would you?

I think it sounds like you're a lucky mother, having a daughter who's trying to find a man for you - although she may some times stray into one who isn't the right one for you!😅
