Some mysteries remain unsolved

Today, I picked up a receipt in a parking lot and noticed someone had spent $437 on decorative gourds. My entire day was ruined by questions that would never be answered. FML

Yep. Free market exists. Artists make decorative gourds, which are commonly used for birds to nest in. Artists are paid for their efforts, and they use that money for their own needs and wants. The buyer worked for the money, maybe invested well, and bought a product fair and square. Perhaps the buyer was supplying a nursing home complex or other campus with delightful bird houses. No one was forced into anything. It's not that complex nor is it a bad thing. (smile face)
