Running commentary

Today, I was making out with some girl at a party and noticed that she wasn't very good at it. I tried to say, "You kiss like a 16 year-old doing it for the first time" but ended up saying, "You kiss like a 16 year-old." Upon saying that, a dozen people turned and looked at me, giving weird looks. FML
I agree, your life sucks 164

Either way, that was kind of a dick thing to say. Damn.

Way to be judgmental, asshat. And in public too. Poor girl.

Just want to let you know that I meant to vote thumbs up on this comment instead of thumbs down. Sorry about that.

I don't think it was the mistake that caused them to look at you funny. I think they'd have looked at you that way if you'd said what you wanted to say.

Your imagined sentence is even worse than what you managed to say.

That could have turned into you teaching her what you like so she could improve. YDI for going about this all wrong.

you could have started cute kissing lessons right there and instead you opened your mouth to ruin the moment. always think, will this comment be kind and lead to more communication or can this hurt the conversation and leave me looking like an ass. takes 5 seconds or 3 deep breaths

Mistakes happen, we all make the occasional verbal gaffe. Don't let that stop you from speaking your mind.
