Olympic kerfuffle

Today, my dad went on a rant about the US Olympics gymnastics team, claiming that it was a disgrace that someone dropped out, and that it was disrespecting "our flag". He's never watched the Olympic games ever, not to mention any gymnastics. FML

He's probably just parroting Fox News or Newsmax. I'm guessing he's not vaccinated.

She dropped out because her mental health had gotten to a point where it was affecting her physically. She had the twisties, which from my understanding make you disoriented when doing flips and twists and such and not know where the floor is. If she had kept competing like that, she could have died.

Did you ask him about his time in the Olympics, or in the armed forces? Surely an uber-patriot like him was a marine special forces hardass. Was he the one who shot Bin Laden?
