Today, despite leaving early to go to work, I still ended up late because some dude decided to have an argument with the bus driver, delaying us by 20 minutes. As a result, I was fired without a write-up. This was my first ever time being late. FML

Honestly, do you want to work for a company that anyway? Getting fired for a first offense is ridiculous.

For whatever reason, you were not important to the company. It may be that business is slow or your effort is inadequate, but the tardiness is just an excuse.
