No need for white knights

Today, my sister's boyfriend of over a year broke up with her. As her brother, I instinctively wanted to beat him up, but he is too much of nice guy for me to be able to hurt him. FML

Honestly, that stupid toxic masculine attitude has to stop. There was probably a reason they broke up that dosen't require him to be beaten. Another thing, it's dangerous messing with the nice ones. Approach at your own risk.

So I'm sure you've either never broken up with an ex-girlfriend of yours, or demanded to get your ass kicked, didn't you? Or are you just some random dumb macho hypocrite who can't understand that other people's relationships aren't your bloddy business?

Unless he physically harmed her, you have no reason to beat him up.

What a shit brother you are! It's a known fact that if you beat the guy to a pulp he will intensify his love and devotion to your sister and they'll be happy forever. That's how it works.

It's not normal or "manly" to want to go beat someone up for that. If he's that nice, your sister either did something or they just weren't compatible and he's not happy. Neither of which was your business. He doesn't have to date anyone he doesn't want to date. Just like if you go to pick up a woman and she says no, she has every right to not be interested. Your toxic masculinity is a big part of what is wrong with today. He didn't hit her, so you have no business intervening. Grow up.

What a primitive excuse for a brother you are.
