Today, I'm in hospital. During date night, after sex was over, I reached for my whiskey. I was already so drunk, I accidentally picked up the lit candle which was in a glass roughly the same size as my whiskey glass, and poured melted wax in my mouth, up my nose, and in my eyes. FML

If you get so drunk that you can't realize you're holding a candle instead of a beverage it's time to give up drinking for a bit.

Yeah..I’m torn between FYL and you deserved it because while it sounds like an honest accident, YDI for being that drunk, probably knowing how you get when you’re that drunk, and for being that stupid. Plus I’d say you both deserve it for having a fully lit candle nearby if you’re going to drink and mess around. What did you think could happen. Sorry that happened to you, be smarter next time.
