That sucks. And that shit is expensive! Most hvac companies can do payment plans. I know because mine broke recently too and I am in hot and humid place. I prefer buying outright as opposed to having debt (no credit cards or car payments), but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Are you on welfare or receive any help from the government? States have programs to help low income and people who have no income. I’m in AZ but in my state there are resources and programs that here ppl can get AC’s, Storm windows, window replacements etc. Contact your welfare office and tell them, they should have the numbers for ppl you can talk to. Good Luck!

Do what lots of Phoenicians do: get up to Flagstaff--it's 30 degrees cooler there even though it's only 2 hours away.

I live in Arizona too. It's too hot. look on Craigslist there are lots of cheap a.c. people that will work with you. Good luck

aye same. when I can't use AC I just put something cold behind the fan. also use that 1 inch to 1.5 inch thick styrofoam in your windows to insulate your place. saves on money that way
