Good girl

Today, my dog started limping as we were walking home. I thought she'd hurt herself, so I picked her up and carried her home. Once we arrived, I put her down, at which point she ran around and played as if nothing had happened. I fell for my lazy dog's plan to get me to carry her home. FML

That awkward moment when you realize your dog is smarter than you...

just remember the dog owns you next time your picking up its shit and carrying it around.

How cold was it, though? My dog would get snow stuck in his paws and would start limping because it was cold and uncomfortable.

Smart dog you got there haha :)

I thought this was a hilarious story of a dog outsmarting its master until I read the comment that points out that it's well below freezing in Ontario this time of year. So it turns out this is instead a sad story of unintentional animal cruelty, possibly resulting in frostbitten paws.

Not only that, but the rock salt put on the roads burn the paws really bad, which will cause bleeding/blistering... The dog then is forced to lick it off & rock salt is lethal to dogs. Thousands die every year from eating it & thousands more suffer from the pain from ignorant owners :(

Maybe she got a cramp. My dog gets those and starts limping then like 5 mins later she is fine.
