Today, my brother refused to bring his kids to a small family get together for my daughter’s birthday, due to his fear of Covid. Later, I saw online that he was at a huge party for his wife’s family, no masks in sight. When I confronted him, he blocked me and won’t return my calls. FML

So the issue in the middle of a pandemic was which group of people should potentially become a COVID spreader event - mine or another? Wake up people, we are still in a pandemic with the vaccinations just getting started! Wait a few more months before socializing with people you don’t live with.

I agree, though I feel like the FML is his hypocrisy. You think it’s a bad idea to get together because of COVID (and I imagine invited for family things are still being extended, as “FaMiLY” trumps everything else), makes sense. But to then turn around and go to another get together, something’s wrong there.
