Everyone's a critic

Today, I'm extremely disabled and by all means terrible at drawing, but I tried anyway. Sure enough, my drawings looked like shit, but I still took pride in them. That is, until my brother looked at one of them and said, "Wow! That's awful!" Thanks for pointing that out. FML

so, I'm a 50 year old ugly dude who can't sing and messes up stick figures. yet still, I do both for fun and don't care what others think. yes, I've been told many times I sound like a dying cow. but so what. if you like drawing, it doesn't matter what others say or think. do it anyway. you don't have to be Rembrandt.

That's why pride is a deadly sin, and pagans have the idea of hubris. You needn't have showed off your terrible drawings and expected praise.

Nobody becomes good at something without practice and lessons or advice - And quite a lot of practice. Don’t sweat what anyone else says or thinks of your work. If you enjoy drawing, by all means keep at it. You will get better. Even if you never become a master at it, you will get better. And you will never know if you could have done well if you don’t try.
