When my father had his Covid test before his surgery at the VA, they swabed his tonsils. They didn't go up his nose like other Covid tests I had heard of.

That's very surprising to me. I know of a cheek swab, but even that is rare. My sister and mom are in the medical field so I'm just surprised by that. It happens though, I'm sure.
